Policy
NYSPI has a variety of meeting rooms that are
available for official Institute business. The rooms include classrooms
and conference rooms, the Auditorium, and the Multipurpose room.
Use of the rooms by non-State or non-affiliated groups is permitted
subject to availability, a signed usage permit and a maintenance
fee.
Every effort will be made to accommodate requests on a first-come
first-served basis. Occasionally there are conflicts that require
‘bumping’ for a priority need. When this occurs we will
do our best to provide alternative space as soon as possible.
Room users are responsible for the AV equipment they use, as well
as leaving the furniture and room clean and orderly. Please report
any problems with equipment, and please let us know if the room
is not clean when you come in.
If you schedule an event in the Auditorium after hours or on the
weekend, you may need to hire a technician. Please make arrangements
in advance with Pj Williamson at x6748 or
Steven Lambiase at x5226.
Please note that alcoholic beverages are
not allowed anywhere in the facility. All photographic, video or
sound equipment will be allowed only with the approval of the Public
Relations Department. Please call Ms. Dacia Morris at 212-543-5421
for permission and any questions.
